What is this all about?
Applications (only through online) are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the Ph.D. Programme -2010 in the frontier areas of Biological, Chemical and inter-disciplinary research at INDIAN INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL BIOLOGY IICB. Details of the research areas in six R&D divisions can be seen in http://www.iicb.res.in/ .
Maximum number of intake for the year 2010 will be 100.
Who Can Apply?
NET (CSIR/UGC) examination qualified candidate or DBT/DST/ICMR- JRF Fellows.
Age: 28 years (relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Woman candidates).
Area of research: Refer the website.
Fellowship/Stipend:Rs.12000/-Rs.14000/-
Applications and Selection Procedures
Application will be received throughout the year – 2010 against this advt.Apply ‘online’ through http://www.career.iicb.res.in/ indicating area of research interest/ Division.
online applicants, if found suitable may further appear in the entrance-interview at their own cost, to be conducted by IICB.Entrance-interview will be conducted quarterly (Around the last week of March, June, September and December).Interview date & timings will be advertised on the website in advance.
Please bring the receipt/report for online application submission along with copy of bio-data & academic records as proof of your eligibility at the time of interview.
