A post of Senior Research Fellow is to be filled up under the time bound research project entitled “Environmental and occupational exposure and male reproductive function” sponsored by DST at the National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad. The post is purely temporary and coterminus
with the project.
Senior Research Fellow (One)
Pay: 14000/-+15%HRA
Essential: M. Sc. in Zoology / Biochemistry/ Molecular Biology/ Toxicology/ other related subjects with
good academic record and passed.
Experience: National written test like UGC-CSIR NET / lectureship with 2 years research experience.
Desirable: Experience in the field of either reproductive / cytotoxicology
Job Requirement:
• To collect history, biological samples
• To carry out laboratory work related to semen analysis/ gene polymorphism
• Computation of data and report writing
Age limit for SRF below 35 yrs. Age relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per rules.
The interested candidates meeting above mentioned conditions of eligibility should send their
application alongwith detailed bio-data and copies of certificates and testimonials to the Director,

Walk-In Interview
The following post is to be filled up under the time bound research project entitled “Monitoring of pesticide residues analysis at national level” sponsored by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project:-
Senior Research Fellows (One)
Pay: Rs. 12,000/- p.m. + HRA
Essential: M.Sc., Degree in Chemistry/Organic; Chemistry/Analytical; Chemistry/Agriculture; Chemistry/Entomology.
Desirable: Preference will be given to those who have passed the National level test like NET, GATE etc.
Basic and practical knowledge of GC, HPLC,GCMS, LC-MS and exposure to pesticides residue analysis.
Wet Chemistry laboratory work and exposure to pesticide residue analysis.
Age Limit: Below 35 Years
The interested candidates meeting the above mentioned conditions of eligibility may appear for the walk-in-interview at the Institute on 09.09.2010 at.10.30 a.m.. The candidates are to submit their detailed Bio-data along with the copies of certificates and testimonials at the time of reporting for interview. Following posts to be filled up at National Institute of Occupational Health, Ahmedabad under the time bound research project (3 Years) entitled “Industrial and dress footwear characteristics and its influence on postural stability (electromyographic and stabilometric analysis)” sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi. The posts are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project:-
Senior Research Fellows (Two)
18000/- PM + 15% HRA
Essential: M.Sc. 1st Class Environmental Science / Physiology / Life Science with minimum TWO years research experience.
Desirable: (For both posts) Experience in the field survey and good working knowledge in computer.
(For both posts) Laboratory experiments, field visits, interviewing the workers and fillup the questionnaire,
computation and analysis of data.
Age limit: Below 30 Years

Scientists from ICIRC have contributed to ophthalmic research over the years and received grants from various agencies such as DST, CSIR, ICMR, DRDO, etc. It is also assisted with Raghudeep Eye Clinic for Clinical Research.
Iladevi Cataract and IOL Research Centre invites applications for two posts of Research Scientists in
the field of Molecular biology, Molecular genetics, Cell biology, etc. at the rank of
(1) Junior Scientist; candidates with a Ph.D. degree with 5 years of experience and
(2) Senior Scientist: candidates with a Ph.D. degree with at least 10 years of experience. Candidates must have relevant Post Doctoral Experience and a strong record of accomplishment in research.
