- Position(s):Junior Research Fellow
- Number of vacancies: 1
- Consolidated Compensation: Rs.12,000/- p.m
- Coordinator / PI: Prof. Anindya S. Ghosh, Dept. of Biotechnology
- Qualifications and Experience:M.Sc. / M.Tech. in Microbiology / Biochemistry / Genetics / Biotechnology / Life Science with at least one year of experience in research. A very good academic qualification in any of the abovementioned areas with a valid NET/GATE score is mandatory.
- Relevant Experience Candidates with research experience in basic microbiology, molecular biology ( gene amplification, cloning, sequencing) and basic knowledge in bioinformatics will be preferred.

- Position(s): a) Junior Research Fellow (JRF); b) Junior Project Assistant (JPA)
- Number of vacancies: a) 1 ; b) 1
- Consolidated Compensation: Rs.12,000/- p.m to Rs.14,000/- p.m.
- Coordinator / PI: Dr. Ramkrishna Sen, Department of Biotechnology
- Qualifications and Experience: a) M. Tech in Biotechnology with specialization in Biochemical Engg./ Fermentation Technology / Applied / Industrial Microbiology with some research experience in handling algal cultures in photobioreactor or M. Sc. / B. Tech with Biotechnology / Applied / Industrial Microbiology as major with minimum two years of research experience in any of the above mentioned fields plus some experience in algal culture. Candidate should have valid NET/GATE. b) M. Sc / B. Sc (H) / B. Tech with Biotechnology / Applied / Industrial Microbiology as major and without GATE / NET. Algae handling experience would be an added advantage.
