Vacancy for the Post of JRF in College of Engineering Pune, Pune Applications are invited to work on two research project funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, Dept of Atomic Energy, Govt of  India.

1. Disturbance observer based control for uncertain plants with application to control of a snake robot
2. Design and development of iris recognition system – a biometric application

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Control Systems.
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Image Processing.

Project duration: Three years.
Essential qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. (Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Electronics, Electrical). A strong intention towards control engineering/control systems/modelling and simulation with hands on experience in MATLAB.
Emoluments: Rs 16,000 per month.

JRF / SRF Research Positions in BRNS Project Under UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research

What is this all about?
Research Positions
Applications are invited for the following temporary positions under BRNS project entitled ‘Development
of a phase imaging experimental station for microimaging applications in material science and medical imaging of soft tissues and its integration, installation and commissioning on the imaging beamline on INDUS-II’. The duration of the project is initially for a period of three years. This project will be carried out as collaboration between the experts from UGC-DAE CSR, Indore and BARC, Mumbai.

There are four positions – 2 Research Associates and one each JRF and SRF.
