A Walk-in-Interview will be held at CGCRI to engage a bona fide Indian citizen for one post of Research Associate (RA) for working in the project on “Sensor Hub for the Development of Sensors and Sensor Arrays for Industrial Applications”. The project is sponsored by DST (Govt of India) and CSIR (New Delhi) with the participation of the following organizations/educational Institutions i.e. Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC- Kolkata), Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, Bengal Engineering & Science University (BESUS), and CGCRI.
One of the objectives of the Hub is the development of electronic nose for tea aroma characterizations. The selected candidate will be posted at CDAC, Salt Lake City, Kolkata to work in the area of “Design of electronic circuit and instrumentation”.
The post is purely temporary and will be co-terminus with the duration of the project. Subject to the satisfactory performance of the selected candidate, the tenure would initially be for two years which can be extended by two more years. The possibility of registration for Ph.D for a non-Ph.D candidate exists if he/she shows promise.
The eligibility criteria: Ph. D in Electronics Science or engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentations) OR 1st Class ME/M. Tech in Electronics Science, or Engineering (Electrical,
Electronics, Instrumentations), with three years of research experience preferably in Sensors related areas.

A Walk-in-Interview will be held at CGCRI to engage bonafide Indian citizens for the post of Jr. Research Fellow(Proj.) working in a sponsored project of Sensor Hub tenable at CGCRI, Kolkata-32. The project is sponsored by DST (Govt of India) and CSIR(New Delhi) with the participation of the following organizations / educational Institutions i.e. C-DAC (Kolkata), Jadavpur University, Calcutta University, Bengal Engineering & Science University, and CGCRI. The immediate objectives of the Hub include the development of (a) electronic nose for tea aroma, (b) MEMS based gas sensors, and (c) polymer based discrete sensors. The eligibility criteria and the emoluments are as follows (Over and above the performance in the interviews, where applicable):
