Vacancy for the Post of JRF in College of Engineering Pune, Pune Applications are invited to work on two research project funded by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, Dept of Atomic Energy, Govt of India.
Name of the projects:
1. Disturbance observer based control for uncertain plants with application to control of a snake robot
2. Design and development of iris recognition system – a biometric application
Name of the posts:
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Control Systems.
2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Image Processing.
Project duration: Three years.
Essential qualifications: B.E./B.Tech. (Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication, Electronics, Electrical). A strong intention towards control engineering/control systems/modelling and simulation with hands on experience in MATLAB.
Emoluments: Rs 16,000 per month.
Candidate possessing the requisite qualifications may submit their applications with complete bio-data mentioning the e-mail and contact details on pds.instru(at)coep.ac.in within two weeks from the date of this notification.
Note: The short-listed candidates will be called for an interview. The date of the interview will be intimated by e-mail. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Duration : Three years w.e.f. 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2013

(Rs 12,000 p.m. consolidated), work may led to M.Tech./Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering.
Principal Investigator (PI) of the project: Mrs R. D. Joshi.
Qualification : B.Tech. or M.Tech. (Electronics and Telecommunications)
Experience : Candidate should have studied Communication Networks, Wireless/Mobile Communication or allied subject at UG/PG levels.
