The selected candidates shall have no claim for regularization against any regular post either in NIPER or CDRI.
Details of Posts:
Lecturer (Pharmaceutics) – No. of position – 2 Nos. Emolument between Rs.25,000/= to Rs.32,000/= pm (Fixed) based on their qualification and teaching experience. Age Limit: upto 62 years
Essential Qualifications: M.Pharma or MS.Pharma (Pharmaceutics) with 60% marks with at least 2 years experience in Research and / or Teaching.
Job Requirements: Teaching and Practical classes of M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics)
Laboratory Assistant – No. of position – 2 Nos. Emolument – Rs. 10,000/= Fixed. Age Limit: 30 years.
Essential qualifications & Experience: B.Sc with 3 years Experience in Research / Teaching or M.Sc in Organic / Pharmaceutical Chemistry or B.Pharm.
Job Requirements: Assisting in conducting practical classes of M. Pharma (Pharmaceutics or Chemistry)
General Instructions:-
1. Number of position(s) may be changed at the time of selection.
2. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
3. Experience will be considered only after acquring the essential qualification.
4. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/OBC as per GOI rules.
Schedule of walk –in-interview is as under:
Date: - 23rd September ‘2010 for Lecturer (Pharmaceutics).
Date: - 24th September ‘2010 for Laboratory Assistant.
Time: - Candidates should report at 9:00 a.m. on the concerned date. Candidates reporting after 10:00 AM will not be entertained.

Who Can Apply/Desired profile for each Post
Appointment of lecturer is temporary and will be made on contract for a period not exceeding three years at present. Minimum Qualification (for all faculty positions): Ph.D. with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades, etc.) at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch, with a very good academic record throughout. In addition, for
Professor: 9 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor.
Associate Professor: 8 years teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor: 3 years teaching/research/industrial experience.
Lecturer: Fresh Ph.D’s in concerned subject without teaching experience. Deserving candidate pursuing Ph.D. and having outstanding academic records from reputed Institute, may also be considered and on being selected will get an opportunity to complete their Ph.D. within 3 years from the date of appointment along with a yearly performance appraisal. Thereafter they can be considered for the post of Assistant Professor if found suitable.

Information Technology - Algorithms, Operating Systems & Compiler Design, Networking, Discrete Mathematics, Software Engineering, Real-Time Systems, Simulation & Modeling, Computer Architecture & System Software.
