This is in continuation of our advertisement in Current Science on 10 February 2011, Vol. 100, 3, page
no. 417. One JRF to work in the CSIR sponsored project on 'Highly regioselective synthesis of 1, 3, 5 tri aryl/hetero aryl pyrazole and its application as estrogen receptor blocker in the treatment of breast cancer'
Post and duration : One JRF – 3 years.
Qualification : M. Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Molecular biology/Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks.
Emoluments : Rs 14,000 per month + HRA. Candidates possessing the requisite qualification may submit their application on plain paper giving their Bio-Data and attested copies of the certificates and mark sheets. No TA/DA will be paid for attending
the interview.

The training programme would focus on Isolation and purification of nucleic acid PCR amplification and site directed mutagenesis Genetic transformation Blotting techniques Heterologous expression of protein in E.coli Development of antibiotic reporter assays and high-through put screening of novel antibiotics
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Knowledge of the subject under focus, preferably a basic degree. The medium of presentation and interaction is in English.
TRAINING CHARGES PER PARTICIPANT
TRAINING FEE OF Rs. 6,742/-
(INCLUSIVE OF FOOD & ACCOMODATION)
Training charges may be paid in the form of DD favouring “Director, CFTRI, Mysore”
CHEQUE / AT PAR CHEQUE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
TRAINING FEE IS SUBJECT TO REVISION AS GOVERNED BY THE RULES AN REGULATIONS OF THE INSTITUTE.
