Applications are invited for the post of Project Associate/Senior Research Fellow Junior Research Fellow (Project) for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:
Project :Glycobiology Oriented Nanotools: Mechanism ba glycosyl epitopes for nanoparticle and quantum dot conjugation: a) detection, separation and inhibition of enzymes involved in glycosylation; (b) early detection of pathogens; and (c) imaging of cancer cells
Project Associate - One post (Research Associate OR Senior Research Fellow OR Junior Research Fellow
Candidate should have a strong foundation in fundamentals of biochemistry, molecular/cell biology principles and techniques with hands-on experience in techniques such as RT-PCR, quantitative real-time PCR, western blotting, and microscopy. Candidate should be able to isolate and purity proteins/enzymes from mammalian cell culture, perform enzymatic assays in vitro using various spectroscopic (fluorescence, absorbance, luminescence) techniques. Experience in naoparticles and magnetic separation techniques are desirable)

QUALIFICATIONS -
1. Project Associate : Ph. D., in biochemistry/molecular biology / cell biology/ chemistry
2. S.R.F. (Project) M.Sc with at least three years of research experience
3. J.R.F. (PROJECT)- M Sc. in Biochemistry / Chemistry / Biotechnology (Please note that the candidates who have appeared for Final year M Sc and are awaiting their results are not eligible. Only those candidates whose results have been declared at the time of submission of application may apply).
