Details of Posts: -
1. Lecturer (Medicinal Chemistry) – No. of position – 3 Nos. Emolument between Rs.35,000/= to Rs.75,000/= pm (Fixed) based on their qualification and teaching experience. Age Limit: upto 62 years
Essential Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc in Organic / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / MS.Pharma (Medicinal Chemistry) / M Pharma (Medicinal Chemistry) with at least 55% marks with at least 2 years experience in Research and / or Teaching post graduate courses.
Desirable: - Ph D in Synthetic / Medicinal Chemistry / some experience of teaching PG classes.
Job Requirements: Teaching and Practical classes of M.Pharma (Medicinal Chemistry)
2. Lecturer (Pharmaceutics) – No. of position – 3 Nos.
Emolument between Rs.35,000/= to Rs.75,000/= pm (Fixed) based on their qualification and teaching experience.
Age Limit: upto 62 years
Essential Qualifications & Experience: M.Pharma / MS.Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with at least 55% marks with at least 2 years experience in
Research and / or Teaching post graduate courses.

3. IT Resource person – No. of position – 1 No.
Emolument Rs. 15,000/- (Fixed)
Age Limit: 35 years
Essential Qualifications & Experience :- B.E. / B. Tech (Computer Science) / MCA with at least 3 years demonstrated experience in maintaining IT resources (such as PCs, LCD, Projector, Network etc) both Hardware and Software.
General Instructions:-
1. Number of position(s) may be changed at the time of selection.
2. No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
3. Experience will be considered only after acquring the essential qualification.

(ii) “Production of Shikimic acid: A potential candidate for the formulation of drug against Avian Flu/Swine flu” funded by ICMR and
(iii) “Enzyme mediated transformations of potential applications in environment and pharmaceutical sectors” funded by DU-DST.
Candidates are advised to bring original along with attested copies of certificates\degrees.
Essential qualifications:-
Research Associate (1) : Ph.D. in Industrial Microbiology / M.Sc. in Microbiology with 3 - 4 years. Experience in handling of large bioreactors for anaerobic fermentation.
Junior Research Fellow (4) : M.Sc. Microbiology with at least 55% marks with one year of research experience in aerobic/anaerobic fermentation technology (handling of large bioreactors) and downstream
processing/purification of bioactive molecules.
Desirable: NET / GATE qualified candidates will be preferred
Lab Attendant (2) : 12th/10th with biological science, with three-four years experience of working in industrial microbiology laboratory.
Last Date: 06.09.2010; 10.00 A. M.
Venue: Department of Microbiology, Bachhawat Block, UDSC.
