Eligible and interested candidates are invited for interview for the purely temporary positions of Project Assistant Level –II in the following Areas under various R&D projects tenable at NBRI:-
Area I: Pharmacognosy
Position I
Essential qualification: Ist class M.Sc. in Botany.
Desirable: Knowledge of medicinal plants.
Position II
Essential qualification: Ist class M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic) / M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical/ Medicinal Chemistry/ Pharmacognosy
Desirable: Knowledge of HPTLC/HPLC/GLC.
Area II: Plant Metabolomics Essential qualification: 1st class M.Sc in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Life Science
Desirable: Knowledge of NMR spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry and chromatograph (HPLC/GC)
Area III: Plant Biodiversity and Conservation BiologyEssential qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Botany /Plant Sciences/Environmental Science/Plant Ecology/Biotechnology.
Desirable: Working knowledge on plant systematic/developmental biology/plant ecology/ data base preparation and computer application.
Stipend: Rs. 12000/- p.m. / Rs.10,000/- p.m. consolidated.
No TA/DA will be admissible.
Date and Venue of Interview: For Area I on 28-12-2010, for Area II on 04-01-2011 and for Area III on 06-01-2011 at 11:00 AM in the Conference Room, (Genetic Block) NBRI, Lucknow

We are a GLP certified research facility, situated close to Chennai-Tambaram. We invite CVs from eligible Senior/Junior Scientists and freshers to work with us on the following positions:
1. Senior Scientist: Analytical Chemistry; Ph.D. with minimum of 5 years experience in LC-MS analysis.
2. Junior/Senior Research Fellows: M.Sc. in Analytical Chemistry. Candidates will be allowed to
register for Ph.D. degree.
3. Veterinary Toxicologist: M.V.Sc., Ph.D. with 15 years of research experience in pharmacology and toxicology with evidence of using small and large experimental animals.

Qualification required : PhD in Life Sciences(Microbiology / Biochemistry / Physiology) or Pharmacy (Pharmacology)
Experience required : Two years post doctoral research experience in relevant field or in industrial R and D Unit. Microbiological, biochemical and animal experiments for bioevaluation of herbal extracts and synthetic/natural molecules.
Age Limit : 37 Years
Stipend : Rs.18,000/- per month(Consolidated)
The engagement is purely temporary and, therefore, does not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for regularization or absorption against any IICB / CSIR post.
