Essential Qualification: M.Sc. First Class in Life Sciences / Biochemistry / Biotechnology with CSIR / UGC NET (LS) / DBT / GATE Qualified
Stipend/Salary: Rs.16,000/- p.m.+ 30% HRA
Age: 28 Years
02. Research Assistant
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. First Class Preferable Net LS/GATE Qualified
Stipend/Salary: Rs.10,700/- p.m.
Age: 28 Years
N.B. Age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH Candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.
Terms and Conditions:
The post are for intramural/external sponsored project undertaken by the Institute/Principal Investigator and no claim in future for employment under the ICMR/Institute shall be tenable.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.Appointment will be on a contractual basis for a period of one year and renewable for subsequent years based on performance/progress shown till closure of the project. If the performance of the appointee is not satisfactory, appointment can be terminated in any time without any notice.

The essential qualification, experience, consolidated salary and service tenure are as under:
Research Assistant (Biochemistry) 1No. (SC)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : 1st Class M. Sc in Bio-chemistry/Life Sciences.
DESIRABLE : 1-2 years experience in biochemical assays and also experience in handling HPLC.
AGE : 28 years relax able in case of SC/ST/OBC as pr the GOI rules.
CONSOLIDATED SALARY : Rs. 10,700/-p.m. (fixed). Without any other allowances.
TENURE : One year
Research Assistant (Nutrition) 1 No. (OBC)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION : 1st Class M. Sc in Nutrition/ Life Sciences
DESIRABLE : 1-2 years working experience in diet surveys and in measuring anthropometry and body composition in human subjects.
AGE : 28 years relaxation in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per the GOI Rules
CONSOLIDATED SALARY : Rs. 10,700/-p.m. (fixed). Without any other allowances.
TENURE : One year
The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualification (from SSC onwards), experience and caste along with a photo and set of Xerox copies duly attested while attending the Walk-in-Interview..
GENERAL CONDITIONS :The conditions of employment will be the same as are for the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director and Appointing Authority has the right to accept / reject any application without assigning any reason and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained. The Candidate those who are belongs to OBC category should submit the certificate of OBC issued by the respective Mandal Revenue Officer/ Tahsildar of the respective State for the purpose of applying to the Central Government Employment.
