M.Sc. (Soil Microbiol.)/ M.Sc. Microbiol./ Biotech.(experience in Soil Microbiol.)

B.E. Civil/Environmental Engineering preferably with 1 year experience in conducting Life Cycle analysis with software Knowledge.
General Conditions:-
Maximum age: 28 years as on 02 Dec., 2010 for Project Assistant-II and 25 years for Project Assistant-I, relaxable as per rules.These posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project
/scheme only. It would, therefore, not confer any right / claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI / CSIR.
Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience. The interested candidates meeting with above stated requirements may attend walk-in-interview at Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research
Institute, Gijubhai Badheka Marg, Bhavnagar-364 002, Gujarat with a copy of detailed bio-data enclosing photocopies of all certificates, reprints etc. No travelling or any other allowances will be paid for
attending the interview.

one Senior Research Fellow in the following project purely on contractual basis. A detail of the position is given below:
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
“Appraisal of multinutrient deficiencies in soils and their redressal through sitespecific nutrient management:..
PI: Dr. B.S. Dwivedi (Principal Scientist)
Salary: Rs.12,000+HRA
Essential: M.Sc (Ag) in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry/Agronomy/Agril. Physics.
Desirable: Experience of using GIS softwares and good working knowledge of handling databases.
Terms and conditions:
1.The above position is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for the period of one year or period till termination of the project, whichever is less. The selected candidates will have no claim for regular appointment at this institute as the position is co-terminus with the project.
2. Age limit: 35 years as on the closing date of application. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates will be given as per ICAR rules.
3. The Interview of eligible candidates will be held in the room of Head, Division of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, IARI, New Delhi on 12th July, 2010 at 10.30A.M. Only the candidates having essential qualification would be entertained for the interview.
4. TA/DA: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Application with detailed bio-data with one colour passport size photograph pasted on it, attested copy of certificates of age and qualifications, reprints and publications, if any, and no objection certificate from present employer should be submitted to the office of Head, Division of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, IARI, New Delhi-110012 . The candidates should have the original grade card/ mark sheet of the essential qualification at the time of the interview, failing which they will not be allowed to appear in the interview.
