Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), a premier Govt. of India National Institution devoted to Academic, Technology and Research programmes in the field of Plastics Engineering, is having 15 extension centres with state of art infrastructural facilities in the areas of CAD/CAM/CAE, Tooling & Mould Manufacturing, Plastics processing, Testing and Quality Control. CIPET offers a blend of specialized Academic programmes in the field of Plastics Engineering & Technology and provide technical support to Plastics & Allied Industries. In line with vision stated under National Policy on Petrochemicals , CIPET has setup Tool Rooms with State of Art CNC Machineries, latest Metrological equipments which are supported with the CAD/CAM & FEA Software for their Product Development Activities. A dedicated R&D wing, (ARSTPS) is established to offer high end solutions for complex & critical engineering problems through a team of Scientists specialized in the field of Automotive, Consumer Products, Health care, Heavy Engineering & Telecom.
