Applications are invited for Senior Research Fellow in a DBT funded project entitled “Microbial whole cells-metal combo mediated one pot method for the dynamic kinetic resolution of racemic epoxides”
Who Can Apply?
M.Sc. Microbiology with two year research experience
Desirable:
1. Experience in identification of bacteria and fungi
2. Hands on experience in bioremediation / bioconversion
3. Experience in handling fermentors .
Age: Below 32 years as on 1-3-2010
Project Duration: 1 year only
Salaray: Rs.14,000/- p.m. + 15% HRA

Applications and Selection Procedures
The appointment will be temporary for the period stated above or till completion of the project whichever is earlier. Candidates should have passed their post graduate degree with a minimum of 60 % marks. A Walk-in-Interview will be held at Room No.1, Dept. of Applied Chemistry, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi 682 022. Those who fulfill the above requirements may attend the interview with a copy of their original and self attested certificates and bio-data showing age, date of birth, qualifications, year of passing, percentage of marks, experiences, papers published if any etc. Candidates already in service have to produce a No Objection Certificate from the present employer.
