ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR : 1 Post

Headquarters or Dr. K.S.Krishnan Geomagnetic Research Laboratory, Allahabad
Pay Band and Grade Pay Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-
Desirable: A First class Master’s degree in Physics/Geophysics or Maths (applied) with atleast 10 years work experience in Geomagnetism and allied fields including instrumentation and computers.
(i) Ph.D. in topics related to Geomagnetism, Aeronomy and allied fields.
(ii)Evidence of ability to lead a group and carry out independent research work of high quality such as an outstanding record of published work.
Maximum Age : 45 years.
SENIOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT : 2 Posts (One Reserved for OBC and One for ST)
Location : Equatorial Geophysical Research Laboratory, Krishnapuram. Tirunelveli
Pay Band and Grade Pay : Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Requirements :First or high second class M.Sc. degree in Physics/ Geophysics/ B.E. or B.Tech. in Electronics.
Desirable : 2 years experience of working with magnetic or other instruments in a reputed Research Laboratory/ Institute/ University.
Maximum Age : 33 years with relaxation for OBC and 35 years with relaxation for ST
