Computational Biology JRF Vacancy in DST project at JNU New Delhi

Applications are invited for one JRF position in a DST sponsored project “Development and application of a Biased Monte Carlo simulation technique: Exploring and characterizing potential energy surfaces of large molecules” at the
Centre for Computational Biology and Bioinformatics,
School of Information Technology,
Jawaharlal Nehru University

  • Qualifications: (a) M.Sc. Chemistry/Physics or M.Sc. in Bioinformatics or M.Pharm. NET or GATE qualified candidates will be preferred. Mathematics up to class 12 and 55% marks in the last exam are required.
  • Fellowship: As per DST norms
  • Tenure: The position is purely temporary and may continue until early 2013 (the end of the project) based on satisfactory performance Short listed candidates are required to attend an interview in JNU for final selection; however, there is no provision for TA/DA for attending the same.
