Project Title and code: High-resolution reconstruction of monsoon variability over last 20 kyr in the Bay of Bengal.
Position required to be filled for period of months: 12
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in Marine Sciences
Desirable Experience in processing sediment samples for planktonic foraminifer studies. Experience in identifying the planktonic foraminifer species for shell size and oxygen and carbon isotopes work. Candidate with SCI publications in international journals will be prefered.
Job requirement: Census counts of planktonic foraminifer species, picking of selected planktonic foraminifer species for oxygen and carbon isotopes and preliminary interpretation of data.
Maximum age as on date of interview: 28
Consolidated Stipend per month: Rs. 12000
