Applications are invited on plain paper in the prescribed format for engagement as Project Assistant Level-II on behalf of the sponsor as per the following details:
Project: Development of biochemical process for production of metal-based nanoparticles from wastewaters containing high concentration of sulphate.
Prescribed educational qualification: First class M. Sc. in Bio-Chemistry/Chemistry (Physical/Analytical preferred) / Microbiology / Biotechnology
Job requirement • Development of physiochemical and biological processes for synthesis of metal nanoparticles
• Characterization of nanoparticles/nano-bio-particles using modern tools
• Assessment of toxicity of synthesized nanoparticles
Desirable: Work experience in molecular biology and analytical techniques for monitoring of nanoparticles
Consolidated fixed remuneration (p.m.): Rs.10,000/-
No of position One (1)
Duration of the project 1 year six months
Age limit 28 years (relaxation admissible as per rules of Govt. of India)
The engagement is purely on a temporary basis which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project, satisfactory performance / conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be co-terminus with the project duration. The engagement shall not be an appointment CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right / claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/ absorption.
