Project Assistant Vacancy in Bioremediation at Environmental Genomics Division NEERI | Nagpur
National Environmental Engineering Research Institute, Nagpur – 20
Application are invited on plain paper for engagement as Project Assistant on behalf of the sponsor as per following details:
Project title: Bioremediation of contaminated soil using genomics tool (NWP19/1.5)
Educational Qualification: First class in M.Sc.(Life Science/Microbiology/Biotechnology)
Job Requirement: Atleast six months work experience in Molecular biology laboratory
Fixed remuneration: (p.m) Rs. 10,000/-
No. of positions: (the number of positions may vary) One
Age limit: 28 years (relaxation admissible as per rules of Govt. of India)
The engagement is purely on a temporary basis which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the sponsored project, satisfactory performance/conduct of the appointee. The engagement will be co-terminus with project duration. The engagement shall not be an appointment in CSIR/NEERI, temporary or otherwise. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim, implicit or explicit for consideration for regularization/absorption. Interested and eligible candidates may apply with bio-data in the prescribed format (available at neeri.res.in) supported by copies of documentary proof of date of birth, educational qualifications and experience etc. by post/courier to Project Leader.
Last Date: Application should reach to Project Leader on/before 21st June 2010, thereafter it will not be considered.
Applicants will appear for personal interview before the Selection Committee on 2nd July 2010 at 11.00 a.m in Room No. 09 at Division/Zonal Centre Environmental Genomics Unit. No TA will be admissible for appearing for the interview. Candidates who do not fulfill the prescribed educational qualification will not be interviewed. No interim inquiries will be entertained in this regard.
