Candidates having M. Sc. degree (with minimum 60%) in any subject area of life sciences with two years of Post M. Sc. Research experience.
Experience of working with plant virus, molecular biology and genomics with international publications is highly desirable. The position is completely on temporary basis with maximum duration of three years.
The initial appointment will be for one year for SRF and upto November 2011 for JRF, which can be curtailed/extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate's performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. (PROJECT)- M Sc. biotechnology/biophysics/biochemistry or any other related field (Please note that the candidates who have appeared for Final year M Sc and are awaiting their results are not eligible. Only those candidates whose results have been declared at the time of submission of application may apply).
Emoluments:
The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules. The three different slabs for Project Associates are mentioned below :
Project Associate-Rs. 16000 consoliated p.m. plus 30% HRA.
S.R.F (Project)-Rs 14000 consolidated p.m plus 30% HRA
J.R.F. (PROJECT)-Rs 12000 consolidated p.m. plus 30% HRA
