Walk-in-interview will be held in the Division of Plant Pathology, IARI, New Delhi-110 012 for the position of one SRF on contractual basis under NAIP funded project, "Allele Mining and Expression Profiling of Resistance- and Avirulence- genes in Rice-Blast Pathosystem for Development of Race Non-Specific Disease Resistance".
Eligible candidates should bring their application giving full details of academic records and experience along with attested photocopy as well as original copy of the relevant documents and passport size photograph.
SRF One
Duration: One Year
Emoluments Essential: Rs.12,000 +HRA
Qualification :M. Sc. (Ag) in Plant Pathology/ M.Sc. (Life Sciences)/M.Sc. (Botany) with good academic record.
Desirable experience: Hands-on experience on working with fungal diseases of rice & molecular techniques. Age limit : 35 Years.
Terms and conditions:
1. The above post is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project. The
appointment will be initially for one year and may be extended further upon satisfactory performance.
2. Relaxation in age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates as per Government Rules.
3. All eligible candidates are requested to be present 30 minutes before scheduled time (10.30AM) on the date (16.02.2010) of interview for necessary formalities.
4. No objection certificate from the employer/University, in case he/she has an employment
elsewhere or doing Ph. D.
5. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidates.
6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
