Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of “Project Assistant” under the following research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India.

Title of the Research Project: Structural and Biophysical Studies of Transmembrane Proteins using Solid State NMR.

Name of the Post: Project Assistant (01 No.)

Qualification and  Experience: First class M.Sc. / B. Tech / M. Tech degree in any discipline of Biology (preferable Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioinformatics) or Organic Chemistry from a recognized University/Institute. Preference will be given to those who have cleared NET (CSIR/UGC) / NET (LS) / ICMR / GATE. Prior experience in handling bacterial cultures is highly desirable. Exposure to working with eukaryotic cultures is an added advantage. An aptitude for learning new techniques is a must.

Salary: Rs. 12,000/- p.m. (consolidated) + HRA (as applicable)

Duration: One year (Can be extended to up to three years subject to satisfactory performance).
