What is this all about?
Name of the Research Project: “Investigation of Gamma and Hybrid Gamma Helical Peptides as HIV-1 Fusion Inhibitors” funded by Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
No of Post: 1
Qualification Required: M.Sc. degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Organic Chemistry or equivalent from recognized university with minimum 55% marks / equivalent grade.
Candidate with prior research lab experience in Molecular Biology, Cell Culture and Protein Biophysical studies along with a strong motivation to investigate Protein structure-function relationship at both Biochemical and Biophysical levels will be preferred.
Fellowship: Rs. 12000 p.m. during 1st and 2nd year and Rs. 14000/- p.m. during 3rd year as per DST norms.
Tenure of the post: Three years subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of research project.
Age: 28 (Shall not exceed as on the closing date of advertisement)

The list of the shortlisted candidates for interviews with details of date, time and venue will be put up on the website by April 25, 2010.
The print out of the prescribed application form sent to us signed and dated by the applicant along with recent passport size photograph and photocopies of relevant certificates and other testimonials in support of age, qualification, caste, experience etc. will be collected at the time of interview. Applicant has to bring all the original certificates at the time of interview for the purpose of verification along with one set of photocopies.
