Nominations/applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the project entitled “Active Faults and Neotectonic activity (with reference to Seismic Hazard) in Parts of Outer, Lesser and Higher Himalaya between Satluj and Yamuna-Tons river, in Eastern Himachal Pradesh (AFNAH-II)” sponsored by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi under the supervision of Dr. N.S. Virdi, P.I. of the Project are invited by the Director, Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehra Dun.
1. Name of the Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (One – purely temporary-tenable maximum upto 07.07.2011
2. Fellowship: Rs. 12,000/- plus
admissible House Rent Allowance (HRA), which is at present 20%.
3. Essential Qualification: M.Sc. 1st Class in Geology
4. Desirable : Adequate knowledge in computerization.
5. Maximum age limit : 28 years relaxable by five years in case of SC/ST candidates and by 3 years in case of candidates belonging to OBC category
Note:
1. Candidates who have cleared NET/GATE examination will be preferred.

No TA/DA for appearing in the walk-in-interview will be payable by the Institute The candidates must bring up-to-date bio-data and all original degrees/certificates for verification
