What is this all about?
Admissions for PhD Programs at IIT Ropar
Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) invites applications from Indian citizens for PhD programs in various disciplines for the academic session 2010-2011. Candidates with B.Tech/B.E. or an equivalent degree with valid GATE score, candidates with M.Sc./M.A degree with a valid GATE score or CSIR/UGC/NET or equivalent national level exam, or candidates with M.Tech/M.E. (after B.Tech) degree are eligible to apply.

Eligibility
All candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. programs must have the requisite marks/grades in qualifying examination as indicated below:
60% marks (or equivalent grade point) in the qualifying examination in Engineering and Sciences
55% marks (or equivalent grade point) in M.A. in relevant decipline
Last Date:
on or before 7th June 2010.
