Job description
Job profile involves work on genomic DNA isolation, cDNA preparation, RT-PCR and qRT-PCR reaction and in silico analysis of the cDNA sequences. Fluorescence in situ hybridization and real time PCR would be used for studying copy number variation of genes.
Candidates having strong Human Molecular Genetics background, coupled with working experiences in the areas of molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology would be given preference.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. PROJECT ASSOCIATE- Ph.D (Candidates should clearly specify whether thesis for Ph.D Degree has been submitted & viva is awaited or Ph.D Degree has been awarded, along with the date of submission of Thesis or date of award of degree, whichever is applicable.
EMOLUMENTS
The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules. The three different slabs for Project Associates are mentioned below :
PROJECT ASSOCIATE - -Rs 16,000 consolidated p.m. plus 30% HRA
-Rs 17,000 consolidated p.m. plus 30% HRA
-Rs 18,000 consolidated p.m. plus 30% HRA
