Applications are invited for the temporary position of `Junior Research Fellow’ under the DST Project `Role of copper in Alzheimer’s disease: An interaction of copper with AB peptide’ in the Biometry Group, being filled in through Walk-in-interview , as detailed below–
Stipend Rs.12000/- (fixed) + HRA per month. (likely to be revised).
Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class M.Sc. in Chemistry/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology with clearance of CSIR-UGC/NET/GATE exam of JRF and one year research experience.
Desirable: Knowledge of trace metal analysis, protein and peptide handling.
Age Limit : 28 years, (Relaxable by 3/5 years for OBC/SC-ST candidates)
In case of non availability of qualified JRF, candidates having M.Sc. degree with 55% marks (as above) may be considered for Research Studentship on stipend @ Rs.11000/- (fixed) p.m. Candidates fulfilling above conditions may apply in the prescribed format available on the Institute’s website http://www.aripune.org., along with attested copies of qualifications, certificates, Passport size photograph, and application fees of Rs.50/-, payable by Demand Draft in favor of Agharkar Research Institute, Pune, by 29.07.2010 and directly appear for walk-in interview on Monday the 2nd August 2010 at 10.00 a.m. No T.A. will be
