Applications are invited for two temporary positions of `Junior Research Fellow’ under the DBT sponsored Project `Folded gastrulation: An insight into mechanisms regulating glial morphogenesis and axonal ensheathment in Drosophila’ in the Zoology Group, being filled in through Walk-in-interview.
Stipend Rs.12000/- (fixed) + HRA per month.
Qualifications: Essential: 1st Class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Zoology with clearance of CSIR-UGC/NET/ exam of JRF/Lectureship and good knowledge of molecular biology.
Desirable: Research experience in molecular biology and/or drosophila Genetics with good communication skills.
Age Limit : 28 years, (Relaxable by 3/5 years for OBC/SC-ST candidates)
In case of non availability of qualified JRF, candidates having M.Sc. degree with 55% marks (as above) may be considered for Research Studentship on stipend @ Rs.11000/- (fixed) p.m. Candidates fulfilling above conditions may apply in the prescribed format available on the Institute’s website http://www.aripune.org., along with attested copies of qualifications, certificates, Passport size photograph, and application fees of Rs.50/-, payable by Demand Draft in favor of Agharkar Research Institute, Pune, by 30.07.2010 and directly appear for walk-in interview on Tuesday the 3rd August 2010 at 10.00 a.m. No T.A. will be
