What is this all about?
Research Position in Evolutionary Biology One JRF position is available under CSIR sponsored project
entitled “Cost of selection response to simultaneous selection on two divergent life-history traits in Drosophila
melanogaster.”
 The salary/fellowship would be fixed as per CSIR as well as University of Delhi norms. The appointment will be for an initial period of 6 months and may be extended till the termination of the project (February 2011), subject to satisfactory progress of the candidate. The candidates are required to attend an interview in
  University of Delhi, North Campus, at their own cost. No TA/DA will be provided for

Minimum Qualifications (as per the CSIR norms) are:
Candidate should have completed MSc/BE/BTech or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and should have
qualified in the CSIR-UGC NET/GATE test. In addition, knowledge of handling Drosophila and basic knowledge in Statistics would be desirable.
