JNU New Delhi Research Associate/Scientist Positions in Environmental Sciences/Remote sensing GIS

Applications are invited for the ISRO-GSI project Geomorphology and Lineament Mapping for 3 Years duration. The appointment will be made initially for one year which may be extended further with satisfactory performance.
Remote sensing Applications Laboratory of School of Environmental Sciences Jawaharlal Nehru was established in 1992. This laboratory has produced scientists of national and international reputation, who are working in ISRO, SAC, GSI, ONGC, DRDO, Reliance and in teaching post in Indian Universities. Following positions are purely temporary:
1. Research Associate (Rs.16000.00 Fixed)
Qualification: PhD in Remote sensing GIS and Geophysical applications in Water Resources. M.Sc in Science with throughout first division from class X onwards and experience in Remote sensing projects with International publications in peer reviewed Journals. Working experience in ARCGIS 9X, ERDAS, ERMAPPER, GEOIMAGE, ENVI, ROCKWORKS and FRES
2. Scientist (Rs.12000.00 Fixed)
M.Sc in Science and M.Phil in Remote Sensing Applications in Water Resources/Environmental Sciences with experience in Remote sensing projects and publication in remote sensing applications in Peer reviewed International Journals. Working experience in ARCGIS 9X, ERDAS, ERMAPPER, GEOIMAGE, ENVI, IDRISI, ROCKWORKS and FRES
3. Field/Lab assistant (Rs.8000.00 Fixed)
Experience in field and lab work with driving licence. Should be in sound health for field work
