INDIAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE CULTIVATION OF SCIENCE, Kolkata
Applications are invited in plain papers containing full bio-data for recruitment of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) in all Departments/Units/Centre of IACS.
Junior Research Fellows
Essential Qualifications: Candidates should have first or high second class M.Sc degree in Physics with minimum average of 55% marks in B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc. examination along with good overall academic record. Candidates must qualify in NET/GATE examination .
Fellowship: Rs.12,000/- p.m. plus HRA and medical reimbursement for self as per rules of the Association.
Research Associate-II in Materials Science Department
Essential Qualifications: Candidates should have Ph.D degree in Physics/Physical Chemistry with first or high second class M.Sc degree with minimum average of 55% marks in B.Sc and M.Sc examinations with an aptitude of doing innovative research work.
Associateship: Rs.17,000/- p.m. plus HRA and medical reimbursement for self as per rules of the Association.
We have limited number of Hostel seats which are not available now but will be considered for future allotment, as and when available. T.A is admissible as per rules of the Association.
Applications should reach the Registrar, IACS, Jadavpur, Kolkata-700032 by May 31, 2010 for RA-II post. For JRF, a candidate can apply to any time of a year.
