What is this all about?
Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate in the MNRE sponsored project entitled “Development of Integrated Micromorph Tandem 1 ft x 1 ft solar modules” tenable at the Department of Energy Research Unit, IACS.
Qualifications and Experience :
Essentials:
Candidate should have Ph.D. in Physics or related subjects or submitted his/her Ph.D. thesis.With minimum 55% marks in B.Sc/ B.Tech/ M.Sc./M.Tech. examinations.
Desirable:
Candidate should have experience on Material processing/characterization.
Fellowship:
Rs.16,000/- plus HRA for R.A.( fellowship will be enhanced shortly as per DST norms)
The candidate who has submitted the Ph.D. thesis will be offered SRF (extended) at a stipend of Rs.15,000/- p.m. He will be offered RA after getting Ph.D. degree. Such candidate must submit necessary documents as proof of submission of thesis.
Applicants who meet the eligibility criteria are requested to submit their bio-data along with copies of degree certificates to The Registrar, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science before 30th May, 2010. The tenure of the post is initially for one year and may be extended on satisfactory progress upto 2 years.
